Pam Sanders is a fine Art painter and Printmaker working in the beautiful County of Lincolnshire in the East of England
Pam studied Graphic Design, specialising in Illustration at Leicester Polytechnic, gaining a First Class honours degree in the subject. She then went on to teach in further and higher education for several years whilst working freelance as an illustrator. Pam worked in community Arts in Leicestershire for several years whilst also painting and printmaking.
She has exhibited at The Business Design Centre and the Vauxhall Gallery in London and at Leicester City Gallery. Her illustrations have appeared in Creative Review magazine and she is a published illustrator.
She has painted several large scale murals whilst working in the community and for the NHS and has also completed many private commissions. She combines her love of the natural environment with vibrant colour, texture and strong composition in large scale works to enhance the interior landscape.
She is now a Painter and Printmaker based in the Lincolnshire countryside, taking inspiration from the East of England landscape, the agricultural architecture, historic buildings and clarity of light across the Fens. Her affordable Art aims to capture the huge skies, minute detail and myriad of natural features that make up the fabric of the North Kesteven landscape.
Many of her subjects are inspired by the flora and fauna of the English countryside, with a focus on flowers and foliage.
Her painting and prints include colourful depictions of animals, landscapes and plants. Working in the medium of acrylic, her vibrant work is both striking and symbolic. The emphasis on natural subjects continues in her Lino prints and drawings which are interpretations of the natural world and the animals and plants that inhabit it.
